I got my 1st order and after tasting each the original Elk & Bison heart, bison liver crisps, I have to say the usual taste of liver is minimal. I haven't eaten organ meats in my life & hated it as a kid. But now my mentally is shifting and find these palatable. The only thing is too expensive to buy them regularly which is the reason for 4 stars. If they always give more points or discounts in future orders like I start seeing then maybe give the full 5 stars.
Cannot give enough positive feedback about the taste and quality of the bison liver crisps. It is so flavorful with the perfect amount of salt. I personally don't even get a liver taste from it and my 3-yr old and I devoured a bag over the course of a week and a half so even though the bags seem small, they are filling.
I'm a big, late-20s SoCal dude trying to fix my health for the long term, and I found this! Unfortunately, I ate all my bags rather quickly. It's much better than pounding out chips, by a long shot. I'm eager to order more!

Vril dust is definitely on my favorites list. This product makes it so easy to get nutrients from liver, which I can’t stand the flavor of. Surprisingly, I really like adding vril dust to my meals! It has almost no flavor and what I do taste just seems to round out the flavor of my food very nicely. I love adding it to ground beef and soup!

On the other hand, our elk come from New Zealand and are known as Cervena Elk. Cervena graded elk are 100% grass-fed and finished, regeneratively raised, and never confined during their lifetime.

what does regeneratively raised mean?
Regenerative agriculture embodies the perfect union of farming and nature, creating a harmonious environment where animals and ecosystems flourish together.

Basically, this practice allows the ecosystem to naturally put back into the soil what it takes out. For example, an animal will eat grasses and shrubbery, then poop them back out - injecting the nutrients back into the soil. This enables the trees and shrubbery to keep growing and stay healthy. The animals will be moved to another grazing location long before the land begins to become bare.
In traditional farming practices, such as monocropping and feedlots, the land is made bare from overcrowding of GMO crops or livestock. The nutrients in the soil are depleted, pesticides are sprayed, and GMO feed is introduced. Waste is rampant and any adjacent plant and animal life is killed.
