Where do you source your beef tallow?
Our tallow comes exclusively from 100% grass-fed and finished bison raised on regenerative farms in the USA. We prioritize ethical farming practices that support both animal welfare and environmental health.
How long does it take to work and do I need to reapply?
Massage the balm into your skin until there is no white cast. Let it dry for 10-15 minutes so that the UV protective properties will reach their maximum potential - then the balm will start to work right away! It is not waterproof, so reapply every 2 hours as needed.
Is the sun balm waterproof?
No, so if you are participating in water activities, you will need to reapply to maintain the UV protective effects.
